The rights to access and portability
If you would like to access your information, you can generally do so by logging into your account and reviewing it there. You can also download your personal information securely from your account. The information provided is in spreadsheet format and is best reviewed on a larger screen. If you are not a member or require assistance or additional access, you can make a request by contacting our Support team. If you have moved address, you can change your address. Your posts and comments may be edited.
The right to objection
You have control over the email and push notifications that you receive. Many members like to get an emailed daily digest as a means of interacting with MyPetsWelcome, others log in to the app. It’s up to you to choose how you would like to interact with your neighbours. If, for any reason, you don’t want to receive notifications about your neighbourhood, you can change your settings to suit how you would like to interact with your community here.
MyPetsWelcome allows you to unsubscribe from individual types of email notifications, directly from the email you have received. If you’d like to unsubscribe from all notifications, you can do so from your account or contact our support team.
You may also be able to exercise your right to object in certain other circumstances
The right to revoke consent
Where you have previously provided your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your information at any time. If you have given us permission to send postcards to neighbours on your behalf, you can opt out in your privacy settings. You can also revoke any consent you have provided to us for our collection of your geolocation information by changing the setting on your mobile device. Additionally, you have control over your advertising, cookie and visibility preferences, which are available for review in your profile under privacy. For the full details on our privacy policy and more on consent, please see here.
The right to revoke consent
MyPetsWelcome allows you to deactivate your account from your settings. This removes the visibility of your details from your neighbourhood, but allows you the possibility of reactivating your account. For further information about deactivation, please see help menu.
Should you wish to have your account deleted, you can contact our support team, who’ll be happy to assist.
